Egypt, Economics, 4/12/2005
Egypt's Prime Minister Ahmed Nazif said the government is keen on improving the local investment climate including legislation process that covers taxes and customs duties, referring to the new tax law, currently under debate, to ease burdens of investors by 20 percent.
In a meeting yesterday with the board members of Egypt's Trade Unions Federation (ETUF), Nazif said the government is serious in going ahead with the economic reform program, whose fruits will affect citizens.
