Iranian newspapers denounce Israeli targeting of Aqsa mosque

Iranian newspapers on Monday denounced Israeli threats against al-Aqsa Mosque and intention to build 3,500 settlement units in the occupied Arab lands. They also said that Israel's "criminal practices confirm its evil intentions towards peace and the restoration of the Palestinian usurped rights."
The newspapers, Ham-Shahri, Jomhouri Eslami, al-Vefagh and Itimad called on Arab and Islamic states to stand by the Palestinian people and to curb Israeli expansionist policy.
