UN agencies to boost peace in Lebanon

United Nations agencies in Lebanon on Monday renewed commitment to stand by the Lebanese people and boost peace and development in Lebanon.
"UN agencies are adhered to help Lebanon overcome poverty, improve health and make education available to all, UN Resident Coordinator in Lebanon Muna Hammam said in a statement on the 30th anniversary of Lebanon war.
She added that the international organization will contribute to fighting AIDS, achieve equality between men and women and help in establishing a prosperous economy in Lebanon.
