Syrian message to the Saudi crown prince

The Saudi crown prince Abdullah Ibn Abdul Aziz on Monday in Riyadh received the Syrian deputy foreign minister Walid al-Mu'allim who also held talks on Sunday with the Saudi foreign minister Saudi al-Faisal, on which a Saudi source explained it falls in the course of continued consultations on developments in the region."

The Saudi official news agency said that al-Mu'allim handed over a message during their meeting from the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

A source at the Saudi foreign ministry said that the Mu'allim talks dealt with conditions in the region and in Lebanon in particular. The source added hat Mu'allim reviewed during his meeting with al-Faisal "Syria's view point concerning latest developments in Lebanon and the withdrawal of the Syrian forces from Lebanon."
