Libya- US oil talks

"The Secretary of the National Oil Corporation, met in Tripoli Sunday afternoon with the US Deputy -Assistant Secretary of State for Economic Affairs, Paul Simons, currently visiting the Great Jamahiriya," JANA reported.
The official news agency added "The talks discussed bilateral relations in oil and energy field, and the ways and means to develop such relations. Cooperation to develop and modernizing oil fields and refineries in the Great Jamahiriya, exchange of experiences and missions in this field to serve the common interests of both countries, were also discussed."
