Lebanese MPs call for bolstering relations with Syria

Lebanese MP Marwan Fares called Sunday for deepening the Syrian-Lebanese relations and looking for a bright future through the implementation of the Taef Accord and forming a Lebanese government that assumes boosting the pan-Arab and national stances as well as holding the parliamentary elections in its due time.
In a symposium organized by the Syrian Social National Party in Bekaa, Fares said "the continuous pressure on Syria and the growing challenges facing it are due to its pan-Arab and national stances."
For his part, MP Ammar al-Mosawi stressed "the significance of fixing the Syrian-Lebanese fraternal ties connected with the destiny interests of the two brotherly peoples on the best bases."
Mosawi noted to Lebanese consensus "on commitment to the resistance option and keeping its weapon that defended Lebanon's independence and freedom."
