Lebanese minister calls for inter-lebanese dialogue
Lebanon, Politics, 4/11/2005
Lebanese Minister of Information Eli Ferzli on Sunday said his country will never be a point for any conspiracy against Syria or a platform to stab the national resistance.
"We call on all Lebanese parties to adhere to the principle of holding the parliamentary elections as scheduled, and to activate dialogue among all Lebanese people, in order to achieve national reconciliation," Ferzli said in a press conference in the Lebanese eastern region of Bekaa.
He added that unveiling the reality of the former Lebanese Premier Hariri assassination will remain a priority.
Meanwhile, Patriarch of Antioch and All the East for Roman Catholics, Gregorios III Laham, stressed the importance of Lebanese-Syrian relations.
Laham, returning home from Vatican in which he participated in the funeral of late Pope John Paul II, expressed hope the Lebanese people will be able to overcome the current situation and form a new national government.
