40 members of al-Houthi supporters killed in Yemen

The Yemeni authorities said it killed at least 40 gunmen of the followers of Bader Eddine al-Houthi during the armed confrontations which took place in Sadaah governorate to the northern west of the country.

Yemeni military sources explained that the security forces detained 50 gunmen of al-Houthi supporters in the confrontations by the end of last week which also resulted in killing ten members of the Yemeni army.

The sources added that the terrorism fighting forces are conducting search and chase operations after the army gained control on the main premises of al-Houthi supporters in al-Razamat area, Wadi Nshour, and al-Shafea in the north west of Yemen.

The same sources indicated that the chase aafter the leaders of the rebels, including Bader Eddine al-Houthi and Abdullah al-Razami, is still ongoing in the range of Loudeyah area where they had fled together with scores of their followers.

News reports said that Saadah city in Yemen witnessed violent Friday after its streets had been converted into a battle field between the government forces and the followers of al-Houthi who are currently fortified in al-Razamat area mountains. N.
