Zarqawi rejects pardon offered by the new Iraqi president

Aal-Qaida Organization In Mesopotamia ( Bilad al-Rafeydeen ) rejected an offer given by the new Iraqi President Jalal Talibani. The organization, which is led by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, spoke, in a statement issued on Sunday on the internet, of its determination to continue what it described as "Jihad."
Meantime, the armed wing of the al-Qaida Organization In Mesopotamia announced the execution of a high ranking officer in the Iraqi police. He was kidnapped recently within a series of operations which targeted members of the Iraqi police and army members.
In a statement issued on the Internet, the organization sad that the officer who was assassinated is Maj. Gen. Muhammad Khadem in the Najaf police, noting that more operations are awaiting those who help the occupation forces.
