Over 60 Moroccan illegal emigrants intercepted off Spanish coast

Spanish Guardia Civil intercepted, Friday, off the coasts of Tarifa (Southern Spain) 66 Moroccans trying to illegally cross to Europe, said official source.
The would-be emigrants were trying to skip into the northern shores of the Mediterranean when their flimsy boat was detected at about three miles off Tarifa.
Thousands of illegal emigrants risk their lives each year to cross to Europe onto poorly made makeshifts.
In 2004, Rabat aborted over 26,000 attempts of illegal emigration and dismantled 423 human smuggling networks.
