Pope John Paul II's burial ceremony completed

Pope John Paul II's coffin was laid to rest on Friday under St. Peter Vatican's old basilica amid choirs singing in Latin, the tolling of bells, applause and tears of crowds who came into St. Peter's square to bid an emotional farewell to Pope John Paul II.
Italian Authority, in accordance to Governor of Rome discretion, estimated around 4 million managed to come to the Vatican area to take part in the funeral, one million of them came from Poland. By the end of funeral a nine-day period of mourning was announced in Rome.
