Shura Council to debate constitutional amendment

Egypt's Shura Council's Constitutional and Legislative Committee will convene next Wednesday to debate an amendment to article 76 of the Egyptian Constitution.

Safwat El-Sherif and committee chief Abdel Raheem Nafei will be posted on the opinion of a group of intellectuals, including Abdel Aziz Higazi, Ahmed Esmat Abdel Maguid and a number of Shura Council members. Secretary General of the National Council for Human Rights, university Presidents and Veteran journalists have been also invited to the hearing.
