Somali president hails Egypt's support to his country

Somali President Abdullah Yusuf hailed yesterday Egypt's continued support for Somalia's independence and sovereignty.
Following a meeting with the Somali President, who is currently on a visit to Libya, Egyptian ambassador in Tripoli Mohammed Fathi Al Tahtawi said that Yousuf is optimistic as regards his return to Mogadishu soon.
Yusuf expected he would return to Mogadishu within three months, Tahtawi added.
The Somali President expressed hope that Arab and African peace keeping troops would help the Somali government restore security and stability in Somalia, the Egyptian diplomat said.
