Morocco-Regional, Sports, 4/7/2005

The Morocco's RAJA grabbed, in Abu Dhabi Tuesday, the 11th Zayed Youth Cup (U-16) after beating the Brazilian team of Sao Paulo 3-1.

After three victories and two draws, RAJA clinched a ticket to the final after a victory over the Emirate team of Al-Ouahda at the semi-final on penalties 5-4.

The 11th edition of the Zayed International Youth Cup held at the Al Wahda Club from March 27 to April 5 revived after a two-year period because of the Emirates commitment in hosting the FIFA U-20 World Cup.

Presented in two age groups U-18 and U-16, the cup netted some of the leading clubs from around the world notably Boca Juniors (Argentina), Inter Milano (Italy), Cagliari (Italy), Fluminense (Brazil), Feyenoord (Holland), RCD Espanyol (Spain), Sao Paulo (Brazil) and Sevilla (Spain).
