Car blew up on police procession in Iraq
Iraq, Military, 4/7/2005

Attacks continued in most parts of Iraq. An official source in the Iraqi police announced today that a booby trapped car exploded on Wednesday evening in Tikrit and this resulted in injuring four members of the Iraqi police.

News indicated that the car blew up when a police procession approached it on the highway after an American military convoy passed by.

Meantime, South Korea decided to reduce its forces in Iraq by 270 soldiers to 3270 soldiers by the fall of August, due to the stable conditions in the Kurdish areas in the north of Iraq, where those soldiers are deployed.

Despite this decision South Korea will remain to be the third largest military force in Iraq after the USA and Britain.
