Iraq-Romania, Local, 4/6/2005

The Romanian presidency on Tuesday evening denied news on the release of the three Romanian journalists who were kidnapped in Iraq on March 28th, stressing that what was stated by two TV stations to this effect earlier is just "rumors."

Earlier the American embassy in Baghdad announced that it knows nothing about the release of the Romanian journalists who were kidnapped at the outskirts of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.

Meantime, American military sources and the Iraqi TV announced that one Iraqi photographer working for the American CBS TV news was injured on Tuesday evening by the bullets of American soldiers during clashes that took place in Musil in the north of Iraq.
