Karami, Larsen discuss developments

Lebanese Prime Minister-designate Omar Karami discussed with the UN Secretary General Special Envoy to the Middle East Terje Roed-Larsen the latest developments in Lebanon and the region.
Larsen said in a statements following the meeting Monday evening that both discussed issues related to the implementation of the UN Security Council resolution 1559. The UN Envoy asserted necessity of holding Lebanese elections which will lead to stability in the country.
