On the formation of the new Iraqi government

Representatives of the Kurdish and Shiite lists and the list of the prime minister Eyad Allawi, whose term of office expired, resumed negotiations in order to elect a presidential commission and form a new government.

The foreign minister in the interim government and the negotiating member in the Kurdish delegation, Hoshyar Zebari, said that the talks will concentrate on the issue of the presidential elections which includes selecting the President of the Republic and his two deputies who are expected to be elected in the session of the National Assembly ( parliament) tomorrow. Meanwhile, the official media spokesman for the Higher Council Of The Islamic Revolution in Iraq, and member of the national society stressed that there are many points of difference between the United Iraqi Coalition list and the list of the Kurdistani Coalition.
