An explosion in Brumana left 12 Lebanese injured

The opposition Lebanese Druz leader Walid Junblat accused what he called remains of the security department of being behind the explosion in Brumanna village to the east of Beirut on Friday evening which wounded 12 persons. In a statement to al-Jazeera TV he said that these security departments seek to terrify the Lebanese people.
For his part, the former Lebanese President Amin al-Gemayal considered in a similar statement to al-Jazeera TV that hidden hands are violating the security of the Lebanese. He called for an international investigations about the explosions.
Al-Gemayel explained that such an international investigation would deter these acts, rather than international interference, denying that the Lebanese opposition called for foreign intervention in order to preserve security.
The explosion took place in a Plaza car garage which is considered one of the most famous touristic destinations especially for the Arab tourists. News reports said the explosion destroyed two floors of the 6 floors building and ten cars.
However, three explosions took place in trade and industrial areas to the east of Beirut during the two last weeks that resulted in killing 3 persons from Sri Lanka and destruction in properties. The Lebanese opposition sides accused the security departments of carrying out the attacks.
