Karami recends decision not to form a government

Continued controversy over dismantling the weapons of Hiszbullah in Lebanon came at a time when the Lebanese opposition escalated its attacks and criticism of what it called the Lebanese- Syrian security authorities in all its political and constitutional symbols of working to obstruct carrying out the general elections decided in May this year.
The opposition accused the designated Lebanese prime minister Omar Karami of deceiving with the aim of extending the current parliament which includes a majority supporting Syria and an inferior opposition.
The Lebanese opposition called in a statement following a plenary meeting held at Rafic Hariri's house for forming a neutral government of what it called credible figures and making the elections under International observers and supervision.
Meantime, The last explosion in Lebanon came after the designated Lebanese prime minister Omar Karami recended his decision on forming the government.
In conclusion of a meeting for the Lebanese forces which support Syria "Ein al-Tineh meeting," the speaker of the Lebanese parliament Nabih Berri announced that all participants in the meeting cling to the formation of a national reconciliation government chaired by Karami and asked him to continue his attempts.
Berri strongly criticized in a press conference in Beirut the statement made by the opposition which accused the Syrian and Lebanese authorities of trying to postpone the elections and described it as irresponsible.
The Ein al-Tineh meeting called on the authorities to completely cooperate with an international investigation in order to disclose the implications of assassinating of Rafic Hariri and revealing the whole truth.
