Nasrullah and Muslim Scholars Gathering statement
Lebanon, Politics, 4/1/2005

Secretary General of Hizbullah Party in Lebanon Hassan Nasrullah discussed with the Muslim Scholars Gathering in Lebanon the suitable steps that might be adopted at this critical stage in the country.

The Gathering stressed in a statement published Tuesday rejection of the UN Security Council resolution number 1559 and adherence to the Taif Accord as well as refusal to disarm Lebanese national resistance which constitutes a safe umbrella for Lebanon from Israeli aggressions.

The statement said "The difficult current situation and conspiracies targeting Lebanon could only be resolved by the national unity on the basis of a clear program through dialogue ... we call on all forces in Lebanon for dialogue without any pre-conditions because it is the only way out of this impasse."
