Kuwaiti newspaper warns against U.S. intervention in Lebanon

Kuwaiti newspaper 'al-Rai' warned against American intervention in the Lebanese internal affairs and its repercussions on the country's civic peace. In an article published Wednesday, the newspaper said the UN resolution 1559 and disarming the resistance were the reaction to Israeli defeat in south Lebanon.
It added that the United States wanted to transfer its failure in Iraq to the Lebanese scene as a preliminary step to account for dealing with the Lebanese national resistance.
