Lebanese speaker accuses Washington of obstructing inter-Lebanese dialogue
Lebanon-USA, Politics, 3/31/2005

Lebanese Speaker of Parliament Nabih Berri accused the US Administration on Wednesday of hindering dialogue among Lebanese. The Lebanese National Agency said Berri demanded during his meeting with a US congressmen delegation to put pressures on the US government as to change its policy in Lebanon.

The "US government has to change its policy in Lebanon; that policy which aims at something more than Lebanon, mainly to meet the Israeli interests," the agency quoted Berri as saying.
