Iran summons the Egyptian charge de affairs

The director general of the Iranian foreign ministry, Muhammad Samahani, summoned the Egyptian charge de affairs in Tehran, Shawqi Ismael, deploring Cairo's convicting one Iranian and one Egyptian of spying for Iran and planning for the assassination of the Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak.
An official in the media office of the Iranian foreign ministry said that "the Egyptian sentence was groundless, describing it as an irresponsible act," taken by the Egyptian judiciary.
