Golan citizens committed to their syrian identity

British newspaper of Financial Times said Tuesday that the Syrian citizens of the occupied Golan are committed to loyalty to their motherland and wished that their ordeal under the Israeli occupation would get international attention.

The paper added that the Golan citizens are maintaining strong relations with Syria in the fields of academic studies and social relations, in spite of the fact that they are surrounded by 20,000 Jewish settlers.

The paper said that the Golan citizens are awaiting the liberation of the Golan and the reunion with their motherland Syria in order to get rid of the dire situation in which they are suffering under the Israeli occupation.
