Arab League criticizes U.S. officials statements on introducing democracy

The Arab League on Tuesday criticized the American announcements regarding the issue of reform and development in the Arab states, saying "American officials don't realize the Arab achievements in the field of development and modernization."
Spokesman for the Secretary General of the AL, Hesham Youssef, said the U.S. officials were not acquainted properly with the details of the discussions in this regard, pointing out that reform and development issues in the Arab states were on top of the Arab summit's priorities.
