On the Romanian hostages in Iraq

The President of Romania Trian Basesco said that three journalists from his country disappeared on Monday in the outskirts of the Iraqi capital, and vowed to spare no efforts to solve this problem.
The Romanian foreign ministry announced it is studying information on the disappearance of the three journalists working for the private Brima TV network, while Brima director said he had received a telephone call indicating that the three journalists were kidnapped.
The incident took place after an unexpected visit carried out by President of Romania to Iraq to inspect his 800 soldiers working within the multinational forces.
