Businessmen delegation to accompany Rasheed during his visit to Turkey

A delegation of Egyptian businessmen and members of the Egyptian-Turkish Businessmen Association is to accompany Minister of Foreign Trade and Industry Rasheed Mohamed Rasheed on his visit to Turkey on Tuesday.

A source at the Ministry of Trade and Industry said Monday that Rasheed is to discuss with Turkish officials means of enhancing bilateral relations in the economic domain, the possibility of setting up a free trade zone between the two countries, removing obstacles to trade along with upping the Egyptian-Turkish volume of investments.

During his three-day visit the Minister will meet with Turkish ministers of Industry, Trade, Finance, as well as other Turkish officials.

Head of the Egyptian Trade Representation Agency Ashraf Rabiee arrived in Ankara Monday on a several days' visit to Turkey.

Following his arrival in Ankara he held talks with Turkish trade officials in preparation for Foreign Trade and Industry Minister Rasheed Mohamed Rasheed's visit to Turkey, set for Tuesday.
