Egypt's Trade with China up by 26.8%

The General Authority for Taxation's report revealed that Egypt is still China's fifth largest African trading partner. Januaury saw Egyptian- Chinese trade totalling at $129, this being an increase of 26.8 percent compared to the previous year. Chinese exports to Egypt werr $114 million, with an increase of 31.8 percent, against imports of $15 million, with a 2 percent fall.
South Africa is China's biggest trading partner in Africa, with a total trade value' of $508 million, with an increase of 32.7 percent; Angola occupies the second position trading $ 301 million, with an increase of 12.8 percent; Sudan occupies the third position trading $261 million, with an increase of 14.6 percent; while Nigeria occupping the fourth position.
