Nazif, Gasprom chairman probe bilateral cooperation in gas domain

Egypt's Prime Minister Ahmed Nazif discussed Sunday with board chairman of Russia's Gasprom Company Aleksei Miller, currently visiting Cairo, bilateral cooperation in the gas sphere.
The two sides also probed the possibility of training Egyptian cadres, as well introducing modern technology in the gas field to Egypt.
In statements following the meeting, Miller said he probed with the Egyptian Premier cooperation in the natural gas domain, adding that he decided to form a working team grouping Russian and Egyptian experts to follow-up the implementation of the agreements both sides concluded.
On his part, Minister of Petroleum Sameh Fahmi said cooperation is to include prospecting for oil along the Egyptian coasts, together with benefiting from the Russian expertise regarding oil production extension of oil pipelines.
