Anniversary of breaking down border gate between Libya and Egypt

Today marks the 14th anniversary of the Leader of the Revolution's move "demolishing the artificial Border Gate between Great Jamahiriya and Egypt," JANA reported.

JANA added "This was the line with the efforts of the Great Alfateh Revolution and its tireless endeavours to accomplish the Arab unity. In a massive public rally, and great historic moment recorded by modern history for great al-fateh Revolution, and its tireless efforts for realizing the pan-Arab unity, on this day 14 years ago, the leader drove a bulldozer and demolished the false border gate built by colonialists to separate the two brotherly peoples in Great Jamahiriya and Egypt."

The report added "After destroying this gate the Leader signaled to Egyptian cars, buses, and trucks to pass through the destroyed gate without any procedures or barriers."

This coincides with the public celebrations marking the 35th anniversary of the eviction of British forces and bases which were stationed on Libyan land and formed a direct threat to the whole Arab land particularly Egypt, JANA said.
