Morocco, Somalia set to boost bilateral cooperation
Morocco-Somalia, Politics, 3/28/2005

Moroccan Foreign Minister, Mohamed Benaissa, held talks, in Marrakech Friday, with his Somali peer, Abdellah Cheikh Ismail, on means to boost bilateral cooperation.

The two states will "sign in the near future a cooperation agreement to bolster relations, notably in trade, fisheries and training," Ismail told MAP at the end of his meeting with Benaissa, held on the fringes of the ministerial preparatory meeting for the first Arab-Latin American summit.

Talks, he said, also touched on the current situation in the Arab states and means to establish a favorable climate to guarantee the success of the upcoming summit, to be held in Brasilia.
