Pope Shenouda: We reject selling church land to Israelis

Pope Shenouda III of Alexandria and Patriarch of St Mark Diocese Wednesday strongly rejected selling a single inch of the Coptic Orthodox Church land in Jerusalem to Israelis.
In statements carried by Kuwaiti Al-Rai Al- Aam newspaper in yesterday's edition, Pope Shenouda also denounced the shameful behavior of some who allowed the selling of land belonging to the Church to Israelis.
Pope Shenouda reiterated his firm stance in "refusing to visit Jerusalem as long as the Holy City is under Israeli occupation, vowing he will never enter the Holy City unless it is freed of the desecration of occupation."
