Association condemns human organs trafficking by 'Polisario'
Morocco-France, Politics, 3/25/2005
The association "For the Liberation of the Moroccan Prisoners of Tindouf" condemned, Thursday, the "traffic of the organs of Moroccan Sahrawi children" by the Algerian-backed Polisario mercenaries.
This came in a press release of the association in which it points out that despite numerous international condemnations, the Polisario guerrilla "continues trafficking in human organs of Moroccan sahrawi children sequestered in the Tindouf camps" (Southwest Algeria).
The Algerian gendarmerie had recently dismantled a network trafficking in human organs of patients coming from the camps near Tindouf where Sahrawis (natives of the Moroccan Sahara) are held against their will by the Algeria-backed separatist movement "Polisario," according to an eye-witness.
Organs were stolen from 600 patients in a Tindouf hospital, mainly children and women from Sahrawi camps. These people were declared dead by authorities of the hospital, according to the same sources.
