Lebanese reaction to the mission's report on the Hariri assassination
Lebanon, Politics, 3/25/2005

In the first reaction to the UN fact finding mission investigation on the Hariri assassination, the Lebanese President Emil Lahoud called in the UN Secretary General to do every thing he finds necessary to disclose the reality to the assassination of Hariri.

In a statement, the Lebanese presidential palace said that Annan telephoned Lahoud to notify him on the results reached by the fact finding mission.

In the same context, the Lebanese opposition parliamentarian and former foreign minister Fares Bueiz said that the fact finding mission used all available information given by the security forces, on the ground it was not provided by all needed facts to conclude that these departments were not serious and lacks credibility.
