Lahoud hails syrian troops role in Lebanon

President Emile Lahoud of Lebanon on Thursday hailed the role Syrian troops played in Lebanon in preserving the country's national unity and avoiding it from partition.
"Syria offered a great assistance to Lebanon in order to restore the country's political, administrative and security institutions," President Lahoud said during a meeting with the Chief of the Norwegian Labor Party.
