Brazilian MPs voice support for Syria

A number of MPs at the Brazilian Senate and Representative Councils in the Brazilian state of Sao Paulo stressed on Thursday that they stand by Syria and Lebanon.
"Pressures on Syria aim at affecting its honorable stances and destabilizing stability in the region in the service of Israel and the US," the MPs said in speeches during a celebration of the Arab Community day in Sao Paulo.
They showed solidarity with Syria as a leadership and people, condemning the US pressures on the Arab state.
Syrian Ambassador to Brazil Ali Diab, for his part, thanked the Arab community citizens in Brazil for their support, insisting Syria's commitment to keep best relations with Brazil.
