Mohamed Ibrahim Suleiman: Private sector to engage in building houses in new cities

Egypt's Minister of Housing and Urban Communities Mohammed Ibrahim Suliman said about 300 km has been added to the New Cairo where 40.000 housing units are to be built and that the private sector is to build a further 36.000 housing units.
The minister added that about 60 service building have been established in the city, as well as 90 buildings for the private sector, including the AUC and the GUC. The Ministry will provide the city with all facilities and infrastructure utilities such electricity, running water and telephone lines.
