Over 16 tons of Hashish seized in Nador in 2004

Customs services and police in the North-eastern Moroccan town of Nador have seized 16.054 tons of cannabis extract, locally known as chira in 2004.
Combined Police and Customs operations also enabled the seizure of 1.130 kg of cocaine and 265 heroin doses and the arrest 214 individuals.
Following these operations, local authorities incinerated, here Tuesday, 2.209 tons of Chira and 29 kg of Kif and other banned substance estimated at EURO 2.23 mln.
