Arab leaders reject unilateral US sanctions on Syria

Arab leaders rejected on Wednesday the so called Syria Accountability Act and considered as a breach of international law and the UN resolutions as well as the Arab League charter.
In the final communique of the Arab summit in Algeria, The Arab leaders announced full solidarity with the Syrian Arab Republic appreciating its position calling to give priority of the language of dialogue and diplomacy as a style for understanding among countries to solve their differences.
They called upon the US administration to enter into a constructive dialogue with Syria to find the best means to settle differences between the two countries.
The US Administration is also called to reconsider this law which "constitutes a flagrant bias to Israel and an abortion of chances to make the just and comprehensive peace." "It poses as a dangerous damage to Arab interests and a targeting of the brotherly relations between Syria and Lebanon as well an interference in the Lebanese interior affaires," the communique said.
Arab leaders underlined on Wednesday respect of Iraq's territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence.
They welcomed the election and considered it as a "great achievement" on the way to the democratic peaceful transform of authority.
The final statement of the Arab summit also stressed necessity of the participation of all Iraqi people in the political process, praising the UN role in supporting elections in Iraq.
It asserted the importance of a UN role in completing the political process and in the rebuilding of Iraq.
The leaders condemned terrorism and violence targeting civilians, religious and human establishments and policemen in Iraq.
Arab Leaders on Wednesday concluded a two-day summit with the participation of President Bashar al-Assad and a number of Arab leaders, princes, premiers and foreign personalities.
Arab Leaders expressed their "full support with Syria against the so-called Syria Accountability Act" considering it as a violation of international law. "it is a stance against the logic of dialogue," said Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa, who read out the announcement of Algeria.
The Leaders voiced adherence to the just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East as a "strategic option" for solving the Arab-Israeli conflict.
They called for making use of the recent atmospheres that refreshed hops and resuming peace process for reaching a just and comprehensive peace which can't be realized but through the Israeli full pull out from the occupied Arab territories including the occupied Syrian Golan, Palestine and Shabaa Farms to June, 4 1967 line, the independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital and solving refugees issue in accordance with the UN resolution 194.
"Peace process is inseparable and the just and comprehensive peace that peoples of the region is looking for will not be achieved except by the return of all Arab rights," the statement said.
Arab leaders called for developing and modernizing the Arab League to escort the accelerated international developments and enabling all its institutions to promote its performance and assume Arab peoples' requirements.
The Leaders also called for building an integrated Arab society in its resources and capabilities and the accomplishment of the comprehensive sustainable development.
