Arab Summit backs Syria's restoration of the Golan

Arab Leaders stressed on Wednesday total support to Syria's just demand and right in regaining the whole occupied Syrian Golan to the June 4th line, they noted that this should be according to the peace process foundations and the international resolutions, as well as building on what had been achieved during the negotiations that took place after Madrid Conference 1991.

The Leaders assured in the final statement of the 17th Arab Summit held in Algeria that the continuation of the Israeli occupation over the Arab Syrian Golan is constituting a continued threat against peace and security in the region and in the world as well.

They condemned the Israeli acts represented by building settlements and expanding them. They encouraged the international community to stick to the international resolutions and renewed their support to the Arab citizens steadfasting in the occupied Arab Syrian Golan as well.

The Arab leaders announced support to Syrian citizen of Golan insistence on total commitment to their land and their Syrian Arab identity.
