Lebanese defense minister hopes for support from the Arab summit

Lebanese Defense Minister Abdulrahim Murad expressed hope that the current Arab summit will come up with a supportive stance to Syria and Lebanon against foreign pressures.
In a speech broadcast by the Cairo-based 'Sawtul Arab' Radio station Wednesday, Murad pointed out that stability achieved in Lebanon thanks to al-Taif Accord and Syria didn't please Israel and its allies' so they provoked the UN resolution 1559 which created a crack inside the Lebanese community.
