Jordan-Syria, Politics, 3/24/2005
Formal spokesperson of the Jordanian government Asma Khuder denied on Wednesday any statement made by Jordan's King Abdullah II against Syria and Iran during his meeting with a Jewish-American organizations in Washington.
"The king's speech was distorted when it comes to the importance of supporting the peace process and the necessity of offering help to the Palestinian authority," Khuder said.
Khuder added that King Abdullah II stressed the fraternal relations between Jordan and both Syria and Lebanon as well as Hizbullah's role because it constitutes a part of the Lebanese political texture.
