Reports say that the resolutions which are expected to be included in the final communique could be summed as follows:

* On reactivating Arab peace plan:

ΚΚΚ Arab leaders tend to reiterate commitment to the Arab peace plan which was adopted by Beirut summit.

The plan calls for full withdrawal from the occupied Arab territories including the Golan, acceptance of the establishment of an independent Palestinian State on the West Bank and Gaza with Jerusalem as its capital, reaching a solution to the problem of the Palestinian refugees.

* On Arab Modernization March:

ΚΚΚ The Arab leaders have asked the Arab League Secretary General to go ahead with following up the activities of the march in line with Tunisia final communique.

The Arab leaders assert their keenness on following up the reform approach in the framework of certain mechanisms and plans.

*On expanding the Security Council membership:

ΚΚΚ The leaders support Egypt's endeavors to get a permanent seat in the Security Council and commit themselves to the concept of the United Nations reform.

*On Arab League Reforms:

ΚΚΚ The summit agrees on the establishment of an interim Arab parliament for a period of five years in Damascus and amending the Charter of the Arab League.

The Arab leaders agree on the establishment of a body for following up the implementation of resolutions and commitments.

This body will consist of representatives from Troika states and representatives from the Arab League Council at the level of the foreign ministers.
