Arab journalists-open letter to forthcoming summit

The Arab journalist union has demanded the arab forthcoming summit in algiers to permit the freedom of the press and expression because this is real introduction to correct democratic development and quick response to the demand of the peoples.

In an open letter directed to Algiers summit, the union said that the current arab and international circumstances made it imperative for the Arab leaderships to conduct political, cultural, economic and social reform whereby our societies can move from backwardness to progress in an age titled democracy and overall human development in the light of information influx and open media.
