Syria hosts Women in Business International Forum 2005

The 'Women in Business International Forum 2005' will be opened in May in Damascus sponsored by the Syria 'MAWRED' society with the cooperation of the Syrian-British Society and the WAB international establishment, it was announced Sunday.
Mr. Ahmad Suleiman, Representative of the International Businesswomen Society, Omar Fuad takla, Representative of the Syrian-British Society and Mrs. Reem Khaddam, head of Syrian Businesswomen Society, said in a special ceremony that the May 20-22 conference would be an important opportunity to display the expertise of the Syrian businesswomen in the field of business.
More than 400 businesswomen from Arab and foreign countries are going to participate in the conference. Britain's participation will be distinguished in the first such gathering in Syria and the region.
