AL to host conference on power linkage economies

The Arab League headquarters in Cairo will host on Thursday the first scientific conference on the future of power linkage economies and the industry of manufacturing electric equipment and products in the Arab states. The conference will be held under the auspices of Egypt's Prime Minister Ahmed Nazif, Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa and Minister of Electricity Hassan Younis.
The conference will dwell on highlighting the available economic opportunities for the private sector to contribute to this industry and set up power stations and networks in the Arab states.
