Manar prevention decision is illegal

Lebanese al-Manar satellite TV channel has considered the European Union officials' decision to prevent the broadcast of the station on European satellite as a pure political decision because it is not based on legal basis and came in response to the continued Israeli campaign to halt the broadcast of al-Manar to the world.
The management of the al-Manar issued a statement on Friday in which it described the EU decision as a flagrant onslaught on the freedom of the media and a contradiction to the simplest legal basis of the human rights and to the principles allegedly propagated by Europe.
