Egypt, Qatar commend Syria forces withdrawal from Lebanon

Egypt and Qatar hailed on Thursday Syria's decision to withdraw its troops from Lebanon, expressing confidence that the Lebanese people are capable to preserve national unity. They stressed that peace in the Middle East will not be achieved except by the restoration of all occupied Arab lands into the line of June 4th, 1967.
They called for making the Middle East a region free from weapons of mass destruction. The statement expressed condemnation of all forms of terrorism.
