Lebanese security chief submits Lebanese opposition accusations to the attorney general

The director of the Lebanese general security Lt. gen. Jamil al-Sayyed decided to submit the accusations addressed by the opposition against the Lebanese security over the assassination of the former Lebanese prime minister Rafic Hariri to the Attorney General.
Al-Sayed said in a press conference that he and other officials are ready to be brought before the judiciary to defend themselves against these allegations and shoulder the results. He defended the performance of the security forces and stressed that its record is abundant of internationally testified achievements.
He also strongly accused certain opposition sides, without naming them, and accused them of bargaining al-Hariri's assassination and being the reason in the "devastation of Lebanon." He also accused certain sides, he did name of robbing the country.
Al-Sayyed rejected the resignation of the security officials from their posts in response to the demands set by the opposition for their resignation.
